MISSION STATEMENT: The individuals of the wind ensemble will promote music education through the venue of the band literature idiom by offering performances and recordings. Through our music, the wind ensemble will be successful in leading our young musicians into the next century. The ensemble will link our youth to a positive experience that will exist for the enjoyment and love of music. GOALS: 1. To promote unity among Laredo area musicians and educators. 2. To rehearse and record selections not easily accessible/available. 3. To submit a recording to T.M.E.A. and/or T.B.A. for performance consideration. WIND ENSEMBLE HISTORY
